Delivery of Treatment

Therapy and evaluation appointments are provided either in-person at Center for Resiliency's office in Montvale, NJ, or via teletherapy. The teletherapy platform used in Zoom Pro, which is HIPAA-compliant.

Patient vs Client

We call the people we serve our "patients," because the term patient symbolizes someone seeking care and healing for their suffering, and we, as your clinicians, provide that type of treatment exactly. Effective, ethical, compassionate, scientifically-based care to help heal your suffering. Referring to you as a client would be more akin to a business transaction.

Accepted Forms of Payment?

Payment forms include cash, check, all major credit cards, Zelle, and Health Savings Accounts (HSA).

What is your Cancellation Policy?

Center for Resiliency has a 24-hour cancellation and re-schedule policy for all appointments.

Do You Accept Insurance?

Dr. Chu-Peralta and all CFR staff are considered an out-of-network provider and do not accept insurance. Patients will be provided with a detailed invoice statement, inclusive of necessary codes, for possible reimbursement from their health insurance company. Several health insurance companies reimburse for mental health services. Patients should check with their insurance provider for out-of-network benefits.
